The dye comes in a dissolvable packet, so there are never any messy powders to handle: simply drop the packet in a pot of water, add your fabric or objects and bring to a boil. For blended fabrics that contain both synthetic and natural fibres use iDye for

For blended fabrics that contain both synthetic and natural fibres use iDye for Natural Fabrics with the corresponding iDye Poly colour, at the same time. Or try pairing two different colours for more interesting two-tone heather effects.
iDye Poly may also be used for sublimation transfer techniques and
to dye the polyester threads that are used to sew many commercially
manufactured garments.
- A single iDye packet will dye 2-3 lbs/1-1.3 kg of dry fabric.

Jacquard iDye Poly is for dyeing polyester and nylon fabrics, and it has never been easier! iDye's self-dissolving packet eliminates the handling of messy powders. Just fill a stainless steel or enamel pot with the recommended amount of water, add an iDye packet and the included Color Intensifier, add a pre-wetted garment, place the pot over high heat, stir until the iDye is dissolved, and continue to stir frequently. Approximately 1/2 to 1 hour. One packet dyes 2 to 3 pounds of fabric.
